Graxana SkinIQ Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Graxana Software Inc. handles information in the Graxana SkinIQ Android application.
Local information
SkinIQ does not require an account. The Skin ID name, skin type, selected concerns, assessment answers and dates, product-analysis history, daily allowance, theme and saved shelf are stored on the device. Graxana does not receive this information merely because the app stores it. Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for app-private data.
Camera, barcode and package photos
Camera permission is requested only for a user-started barcode scan or package photo. Barcode frames stay on-device for recognition. An unknown barcode value may be sent to the Graxana API and Open Facts catalogue services. A package photo is uploaded only after the user requests package reading; the Graxana API sends the photo and transcription instructions to an OpenAI vision model. Local Skin ID and history are not included.
Network, providers and retention
Requests expose ordinary network information such as IP address, time and user agent to Graxana and hosting providers for delivery, rate limiting, security and error operations. OpenAI requests use store: false; provider operational and abuse-prevention practices may still apply. The app includes no advertising or behavioural-analytics SDK in the current release.
Deletion and safety boundary
Clear SkinIQ storage or uninstall to remove local data. Delete PDFs from the destination selected by the user. SkinIQ provides general cosmetics information and does not diagnose, treat or prevent disease, test allergies or replace a qualified clinician.
