Grax ME Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Graxana Software Inc. handles information in the Grax ME mobile application.
Local-first design
Grax ME does not require an account and does not connect to a bank. Financial records, goals, learning progress and certification records remain in private application storage on the Android device unless the user explicitly exports a backup or certificate file.
Information stored on the device
- Manual income and expense records entered by the user
- Savings goals, contribution history and milestone progress
- Lesson completion, quiz scores, streaks and badges
- Certification attempts, learner name, score, issue date and locally generated certificate identifier
- Application settings, schema version and migration records
Graxana does not collect this information merely because the app stores it locally.
No bank connection or individualized financial advice
Backup, restore and certificates
The user may export a versioned JSON backup and may generate a PDF certificate. Exported files are not encrypted by the app. The user chooses where they are stored or shared and is responsible for protecting them. Services that receive exported files operate under their own privacy terms.
Cloud and device-transfer backups
Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for Grax ME private application data in the current release.
Permissions and third-party services
The app may use local SQLite storage and Android file or sharing capabilities to perform functions requested by the user. It does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, account login, location tracking or a Graxana backend in the current release.
Data retention and deletion
Local data remains on the device until the user deletes records, resets the app where available, clears the app’s data or uninstalls it. Exported files must be deleted separately from the location or service selected by the user.

Children
Grax ME is designed primarily for adults and young adults and is not directed to children under 13. Graxana does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the current local-first app.
Security
Graxana limits data collection and uses private application storage. Users should protect access to their device and exported files. No storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be reflected in the application and its store listing.
