Delete your Graxana app data

Grax Prompt 101, Grax ME and Grax Scanner do not require an online account in their current releases. Most user information remains in private storage on the Android device, so deletion is normally completed directly on that device.

Delete data from within the app

Where a reset or clear-progress control is available, open the app’s settings or progress area and use that control. Review the confirmation carefully because deletion may be permanent.

Clear all Android app data

  1. Open the Android Settings application.
  2. Select Apps and choose Grax Prompt 101, Grax ME or Grax Scanner.
  3. Select Storage or Storage & cache.
  4. Select Clear storage or Clear data and confirm.

This removes locally stored learning progress, scores, goals, financial records, scan history, favourites, installation settings and certificate records for that installation.

Uninstall the app

Uninstalling normally removes private application data. Android behaviour can vary by device and backup settings. Grax ME is designed with Android cloud and device-transfer backup disabled for private application data in the current release.

Delete exported files separately

PDF certificates and JSON backup files saved or shared outside an app are not removed when app data is cleared. Delete those files from Downloads, Files, cloud storage, email or any other service where you placed them.

Live Grax Scanner requests

Grax Scanner can send a barcode, selected analysis mode, device locale, random installation identifier, product-question context or a user-selected label photo to the Graxana API. These requests do not create a user account. The API processes label photos in memory and does not write them to a Graxana application database. Clearing app data removes the local history but cannot retract a request that has already been processed.

No server-side account to delete

The current apps do not create a Graxana user account or store local learning, financial or scan history in a Graxana cloud account. Therefore there is normally no separate server-side profile deletion request to submit. For a privacy inquiry about technical service data, contact privacy@graxana.com with the app name and approximate request date; do not send the original label photo or sensitive records.

Future online features: if Graxana later introduces accounts or server-side storage, this page and the applicable privacy policy will be updated with a remote deletion process before release.
